New bag

Movie review2-02 "School of Rock"

I watched "School of Rock". Dewey is the main character in this story. He is a bandsman and loved rock very much. But he was fired because he had too much ardor for rock and did egotistic performances. He played guitar without regard to other people's feelings. He also dove into auditorium because he got very excited. Though he lived together with his friend named "Ned", Ned told Dewey to pay the rent. Ned is Dewey's roommate and best friend.
One day, an offer of a substitute teacher for Ned came from principal of primary school named "Rosalie". The school was known for strict education. Rosalie is a very uptight principal of Horace Green Elementary. Dewey answered the phone in behalf of Ned. Dewey passed himself off for Ned as it was and went to the high-brow Horace Green Elementary because he was poor.
He didn't teach lessons to children at first because he only wanted the paycheck. But he found that children had the ability of music, so he secretly started a rock band with children and tried to take part in a band contest. Students complained but Dewey told a lie that they could be admitted by recommendation to a famous university if they won the contest and so the children practiced music.
Though Dewey was finally revealed as a false teacher, the children’s parents came to the contest and the children played well and succeeded in the contest.

This movie was funny and very interesting. I like this movie very much because I like music very much. Their hair and clothes were individual and good. I could know that music is a very good thing. Dewey didn't intend to teach at first but I was moved to see that he desperately taught rock music to children finally. He was very eager because he gave a rock CD to each child. So I thought that I want to meet teacher like Dewey. This movie was really interesting!! So I want to this movie again. 337

Kasutera Cake

I got a cake from Katsuya. This is "Kasutera Cake". The taste looked like Thiramise. It was very sweet and nice!!! I ate it for the first time, but I like it very much. This cake was made with kasutera, egg, and fresh cream. I was very happy to get it from him. 53

Firework in Yatsushiro

I went to Yatsushiro to see firework with Katsuya by train. We left early because I thought there were many people and train was crowded. We arrived in Yatsushiro and walked around the river. There were many people there. Before the firework starts, we bought many foods, French fries, yakitori, rice ball with beef, taiyaki, and etc in booth. many fireworks were shot off in the sky. It was 11000 bullets. I saw the firework in Yatsushiro first, I was happy to saw it. I had a very good time. I wanted to go next year. 96

Omlette rice and Okonomiyaki

I made omelet containing fried rice with Katsuya. We made omelet containing fried rice by ourselves and exchanged them. Omelet I made was spicy and omelet Katsuya made was sweet. His cook was very nice. I like omelet containing with rice very much. So, I often made it with him. I ate Okonomiyaki with yam. I liked it. It was nice. I want to cook again. 66

Youko's Lunch

Youko made lunch for me. We promised that we made a lunch each other and exchange it. She is good at cooking. Her lunch had pumpkin, Japanese omelet, ginger-flavored slices of grilled pork, chicken cutlet, salad, and rice balls. She also made sweet with chestnut. I like it, so I was happy to eat it. Her lunch was very nice. I try to make a lunch for her. 68

Book review2-05 "Submarine Adventure"

I read "Submarine Adventure". Wilf and Wilma had come to play at Biff and Chip's house because it was Wilf's birthday. Biff and Chip gave him a big card. Wilf had a large box that was his birthday present. It is a kind of submarine and explores the sea bed. Biff looked at the magic key, it began to glow suddenly. The magic took the children to the sea, where there were lots of boats. The children found a yellow submarine that looked just like Wilf's submarine. When the children went to look at the submarine, a hatch began to open and a man looked out. He was Professor Tangle. The children introduced their selves to him. Then, they all climbed into the submarine. They have never been in it. Professor Tangle shut the hatch. He started the engines and the submarine went under the water. Everyone looked out of the window and could see fish everywhere. Then, Biff pushed button, Wilf pressed handle and Chip pulled lever. They seemed busy because there were far too much to do. The submarine began to dive and went deeper. Professor Tangle was excited began but the children were scared. It was getting very dark. So the Professor Tangle tried to push the light switch, but the lights didn't work. The huge rocks were coming to them. Professor Tangle pushed a button and pulled a lever. The submarine didn't crash and it just missed the rocks. There was a cave ahead of them, but the submarine was heading for it. Professor Tangle pulled a lever and the submarine slowed down just in time. The submarine went into the cave. Professor Tangle put the new fuse in and all the lights came on. The cave shone and sparkled. There were diamonds all over the walls. Professor Tangle wanted to get them, but he couldn't get them. Suddenly, the walls of the cave began to shake. Rocks and stones fell all around them. The submarine got out just in time. They were all sad that they couldn't get the diamonds. Just then the key began to glow and the magic took them back to Biff's house. This story was difficult for me to read because there were many words I didn't know. I want to experience like this story. 384
